Tiguan Climbs to Top of "Crossover" Category

The Volkswagen 2009 Tiguan has been named "Best Crossover" by a reviewer at, part of the The Wall Street Journal digital network. With big performance in a compact package, the Tiguan showed enough versatility to impress this critic and rise to the top of the crossover category.

The interior won big marks as well. The Tiguan features an upscale interior consistent with its higher priced competitors in addition to "fun to drive" features like its panoramic power-sliding sunroof that lets in four times the light of an average sunroof. And true to VW form, Tiguan showcased some German Engineering reserved primarily for luxury models, like Anti-Slip Regulation technology, and EPS, electronic stabilization program for a smooth, safe ride. The people want to have the best of both worlds. Now they have it with Tiguan.
