Touareg TDI tops Mercedes, Lexus and BMW

In a recent Motor Trend comparison, the new 2009 Touareg TDI Clean Diesel beat out BMW X5 xDrive 35d, 2010 Lexus RX 450h and Mercedes-Benz ML320 BlueTEC by delivering brawn, beauty and brain in a full-size SUV.
Fully-functioning both on and off road, its 4XMOTION System offers full-time four-wheel drive without the shudder or clamor of other diesel engines. When it comes to fuel-economy, an EPA estimated 25mpg hwy* and the Touareg's ability to cover over 600 miles on a 26.2-gallon tank give it longer range than Lexus, BMW and Mercedes. With its sleek features and smooth drive, the Touareg TDI also boasts the most hushed ride in its class.
